Privacy policy
Who we are
Bonzou is the controller of your data. You can contact us about your data at hello@bonzou.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your email address, the city you choose and, if you pick “Somewhere else”, the city you type. We also record when you agreed and which version of this policy you agreed to.
Why we use it
To email you your invite when Bonzou opens in your city, to send launch updates about Bonzou, and to decide which cities to open next. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for anything else.
Legal basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw your consent, or until 12 months after Bonzou opens in your city, whichever comes first.
Website analytics
We measure how the site is used with PostHog, hosted in the EU. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and we do not use session recordings. It counts things like pages visited, how far you scroll and which buttons are used, without your email address or other personal details. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we do not measure your visit.
Who receives it
Only the service providers that host this website and send our emails, acting on our instructions. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards required by GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@bonzou.com. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before. If you think we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
